Pop-Up Blockers

Pop-up blockers are the number one reason clients have trouble accessing the TCO/BPM site.  Not only does Microsoft have built-in blockers, all ancillary tool bars like Yahoo!, Goggle, MSN, and others have their own unique blockers.

Turning off pop-up blocker protection is probably not a good idea but there are a couple of easy solutions to allow easy access to the TCO/BPM administration site.

  1. Start your web browser…Microsoft Internet Explorer
  2. Across the top navigation bar click Tools, Internet Options, Privacy
  3. Near the bottom of the dialog box that opens up you should see an area for setting up your Pop-up Blocker
  4. If the box to the left of “Block pop-ups” is not checked, check it.  If it is checked move to step 5.
  5. At the top of the dialog box that opens there is a place to type in the “Address of Web site to allow:”  In this box type www.benefitplanmanager.com.
  6. Click Add
  7. Under Notifications and Filter Levels make sure the box to the left of both items is checked.
  8. In the Filter Level drop down box make sure you have selected “Medium: Block most automatic pop-ups”
  9. Click Close, Apply, OK

If you are using other than the most recent version of Microsoft Internet Explorer these instructions may not be appropriate.  In that case please Contact our Compliance Officer for additional assistance.
